The Lindenwood women's volleyball team (1-1, 1-1 GLVC) was swept, 3-0, on the road at No. 9 Quincy (5-1, 3-1 GLVC) on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions dropped the first set, 25-11, to the Hawks.
- Lindenwood recorded six kills and nine errors in the opening set.
- In the second set, the team upped their kills total to 17.
- After closing the gap to 23-20 in the third set, the Hawks closed it out to go up 2-0.
- The third and final set saw the Lions finish with 17 kills, a game-high for the squad.
- Neither team led by more than three points at any point in the third set.
- Lindenwood outblocked Quincy in the contest, 8-4.
