No. 2 Lindenwood women's lacrosse (1-0, 0-0 GLVC) picked up a blowout win over Northern Michigan (0-1, 0-0 GLIAC) by a final score of 23-2.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions were in control from the opening whistle of the game, leading 10-1 after the first 30 minutes of play. Lindenwood got off to a quick start, scoring the first five goals of the game.Â
Lexy Biller scored three of her four goals in the opening half.

The second half was more of the same as Lindenwood outscored Northern Michigan 10-1. The Lions had 10 players record a point in the contest, led by
Erin McGuire who recorded 10 (2 G, 8 A). The 10 points are the third most in a single-game in program history.Â
Paige Sutton chipped in six goals, setting a new career-high.Â
The Lions outshot the Wildcats 35-18, scooped up 22 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers on the way to a dominant win.
