The No. 2 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team (2-0, 0-0 GLVC) score seven unanswered goals in the second half to defeat No. 14 Regis (0-1, 0-0 RMAC) 13-10 on Saturday afternoon from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.
GAME OVERVIEW
The first 15 minutes of play were even, as both teams generated 12 shots each, seeing Lindenwood lead 5-4 heading into halftime. The Lions were able to scoop up 12 ground balls in the opening half, four more than the Rangers.Â
Cam Holley also made six saves in the first half, while the Regis goalie stopped five Lindenwood shot attempts.Â

In the second half, the Lions found themselves down 9-6 with just under 20 minutes to play. Lindenwood found a spark on offense and were able to score seven unanswered goals in the half, to take a 13-9 lead. The Lions would protect the lead and go on to win 13-10. In the half, the Lions caused 13 Regis turnovers and picked up six more ground balls then the Rangers.
