The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (3-7, 0-7 MIVA) suffered a conference loss on the road to Quincy (4-6, 1-6), 3-1, on Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Hawks took the first set, 26-24.
- The two teams went back-and-forth in the opener, as the Lions held a late 22-17 lead.
- Quincy went on a run to close out the first set, finishing 9-2.
- Lindenwood dominated the second set by a score of 25-20.
- The team's biggest lead in the second set was five, at 24-19.
- Quincy finished with a third set win, 25-21.
- Lindenwood knotted the third set up, 20-20, but Quincy finished the set on a 5-1 run.
- Quincy took the fourth and final set, 25-19.
- Lindenwood recorded two more points than Quincy.
- The Lions had three aces to the Hawks' two.
- Lindenwood notched two more total blocks than Quincy.
- Quincy finished with one more kill, 54-53.
