No. 2 Women's Lacrosse Earns Commanding Win Over Tiffin

The No. 2 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team (3-0, 0-0 GLVC) earned a commanding win over Tiffin (0-5, 0-0 GMAC) by a score of 20-3 on Saturday from Tiffin, Ohio.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions got out to a quick start, scoring the first six goals of the game and took a 12-2 lead into halftime.  Four Lindenwood players scored two or more goals in the half, led by Lexy Biller, who found the back of the net three times.  Across the first 30 minutes of play, Lindenwood outshot Tiffin 19-9 while causing eight Dragon turnovers.

The second half was more of the same as Lindenwood outscored Tiffin 8-1.  The defense for the Lions was stout in the half, allowing just five dragon shots in 30 minutes of play. In the half, the Lions outshot the Dragons 19-5, while scooping up five more ground balls than Tiffin.

- Biller tied a season-high with four goals in the game.
- Meghan Rea, Carly Fedorowski and Lindsay Smith each tallied two assists, tops on the team
- Kate MacDonell scooped up a team-high three ground balls.
- Eleanor Kast made five saves on the day on the way to her first win.
