The Lindenwood men's soccer team (0-2-0, 0-2-0 GLVC) dropped Sunday's matchup against Quincy (1-1-0, 1-1-0 GLVC by a score of 2-0.
Match Overview
The defense was strong in front of keeper
Jason Ellis Jr. in the first half as the Vancouver, Wash. native made three saves across the first 45 minutes. The Lions generated four shots and registered two corner kicks in the half as the game remained scoreless going into the break.
Quincy got on the scoreboard less than 10 minutes into the second half as a ball directly off a corner kick found its way into the back of the net. They would go on to add another late goal from the penalty spot in the 76th minute and seal a 2-0 victory.
