Lindenwood women's basketball (7-4, 7-4 GLVC) travels to Springfield, Mo. to take on No. 1 Drury (10-1, 10-1 GLVC) on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
The Lions enter the game on a season-high-tying three-game winning streak. The last time the two teams met, Drury won, 110-69.
In the season-opener,
Julia Ruzevich went for 23 points and 14 rebounds against the Panthers.
Ellen McCorkle secured a career-high 25 points in a win over Illinois Springfield on Tuesday.
Devin Fuhring added 24 points, and a career-high six steals, tied for 3rd-most in a single-game in team history.
Lindenwood owns the 3rd-best offense in the GLVC (71.5) after an 83 point showing Tuesday. The Lions' 40.5 rebounds per game is tops in the conference.
J. Ruzevich (19.2) and Fuhring (18.0) are 4th and 5th in scoring in the GLVC. J. Ruzevich continues to lead the conference in boards with 10.7 per game.
McCorkle is 3rd in the GLVC in blocked shots per game (1.91).
Grace Neff's 1.86 assist/turnover ratio is 6th in the GLVC.
A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION
Drury is coached by Amy Eagan. The No. 1 Panthers are 11-1 this season.
The Panthers own the best offense at 87.2 points per game. Allowing just 64.5 points per game, Drury is 3rd in the GLVC.
Drury is the only team in the conference with a scoring margin above 8.0. The Panthers have a +22.7 scoring margin this season.
The Panthers suffered their first loss of the season, and first loss since 2018-19, by a score of 75-69 to Rockhurst on Tuesday.
Paige Robinson leads the team, and GLVC, in scoring at 21.4 points per game. Robinson's 5.36 assists per game is 2nd in the conference. Robinson is also 8th in the league in blocked shots per game (0.91).
