The Lindenwood women's volleyball team (9-5, 9-5 GLVC) picked up a 3-1 home win against Quincy (12-5, 10-5 GLVC) on Friday, as
Sadie Kosciuk recorded a rare triple double.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions won their third-straight match, and seventh in the last eight contests, with the 3-1 victory over the Hawks.
- The opening set went Lindenwood's way 25-17.
- The Lions recorded a match-high 17 kills in the first set.
- The second set was won by Lindenwood, 25-18.
- The Hawks were held to 10 kills in the second set, while the Lions scratched across 16 kills.
- The fourth set gave Lindenwood a 3-1 win, as the team outscored Quincy, 25-21.
- In the final set, the Lions tallied 16 kills with just four errors.
- In the match, Lindenwood finished with 12 more kills than Quincy, four more aces, seven more blocks, nine more assists, and 10 more digs.
- The Lions' last four wins have come in four or less sets. Three of those four wins have been in 3-0 fashion.
- Sadie Kosciuk finished with a triple double in the match (11 kills, 10 blocks, 10 digs).
