The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (4-11, 1-11 MIVA) lost its final road game of the regular season, 3-0, to Ohio State (8-8, 7-5 MIVA) on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Buckeyes took the first set, 25-16, against the Lions.
- Lindenwood was able to slim Ohio State's first set lead to two points, 14-12, before the Buckeyes went on a 4-1 run.
- In the opening set, the Lions recorded 10 kills.
- The second set was also won by Ohio State, 25-21.
- The Lions made it close, but with the score at 20-17 in favor of the Buckeyes, the two teams traded points to the 25-point victory mark for Ohio State.
- Lindenwood totaled 12 kills in the second set.
- The third set gave the Buckeyes a match victory, as they won it by a score of 25-18.
- The final set saw the Lions notch seven kills, a match-low.
