The Lions won their fourth straight tournament championship in the Central States Collegiate Hockey League (CSCHL) with a 9-2 victory over Iowa State Sunday afternoon at the Centene Community Ice Center in

Lindenwood led 3-1 after the first period and opened that margin to 5-2 in the middle frame before pulling away in the third.
Vegard Faret had a hat trick with three goals and an assist.
Brendan Murphy scored twice and helped on two others and was named the CSCHL Tournament MVP.
The Lions outshot the Cyclones 57 to 30 and
Stephen Friedland stopped 28 of the 30 pucks he faced to earn the win in goal for Lindenwood.
With the victory, the Lions improved to 15-1-0 overall and completed conference play with a mark of 9-1-0. The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Men's Division I National Championship begins April 15 at the Maryville Hockey Center in Chesterfield, Missouri.
