The Lindenwood women's soccer team (3-0-0, 3-0-0 GLVC) defeated Truman State (1-2-0, 1-2-0 GLVC) by a score of 1-0 in overtime on Friday afternoon from Kirksville, Mo. This is the Lions third consecutive shutout to start the season.
MATCH OVERVIEW
The first half consisted of strong defensive play with each team registering a combined eight shots, but only two were on frame. Lindenwood earned three corners across the opening 45 minutes of play but were unable to create anything off of them as the game remained scoreless heading into halftime.
The defensive battle continued into the second half as each keeper made two saves, respectively during the second half. Lindenwood had two corners, while the Bulldogs had none in the half, but the game would go into OT tied 0-0.

Morgan Weller found some space down the left side, sent in a cross that found the feet of
Bailey Bologna who laid it off to
Katie Juhlin and she did the rest, finding the bottom left corner to give the Lions a 1-0 win.
