The Lindenwood men's soccer team (1-3-0, 1-3-0 GLVC) fell by a final score of 2-0 to William Jewell (1-2-1, 1-2-1 GLVC) on Sunday afternoon from Liberty, Mo.
MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lions found themselves down 1-0 less than 10 minutes into the game. After the goal, the game turned into a strong defensive display, as each team combined for just four shots in the half, including three on goal, all belonging to the Cardinals. Lindenwood did generate seven corner kicks in the first 45 minutes of play, while William Jewell failed to earn one.
The Cardinals took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
