The Lindenwood men's soccer team (3-7-0, 3-7-0 GLVC) fell in overtime to UMSL (4-4-3, 4-4-3 GLVC) by a final score of 1-0 on Thursday night from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.

MATCH OVERVIEW
Neither team was able to generate much offensively throughout the first half as both teams combined for just four shots on goal in the opening half. The Lions generated four corner kicks, while the Tritons recorded two, but Lindenwood was unable to take advantage of any opportunity from those corners
The game was tied 0-0 headed into the break
Each team picked up the offensive attack in the second half, as Lindenwood compiled six shots toward the Triton goal, three of which were on frame. The match continued to remain scoreless late into the half, as UMSL saw its best chance come off of a free kick from 15 yards out after
Gabriel Miranda was shown his second yellow card of the night. The shot sailed over the net, but the Lions went into overtime down a man.
In overtime, the Tritons were able to settle the ball in the middle of the pitch and play a long through ball over the Lindenwood defense, netting the game winner halfway through the overtime session.
