The Lindenwood men's soccer team (3-10-0, 3-10-0 GLVC) fell by a score of 4-0 to No. 4 UIndy (11-0-2, 11-0-2 GLVC) on Sunday afternoon from Indianapolis, Ind.
MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood found itself down 1-0 just eight minutes into the game. The Lions were able to generate a few chances offensively, registering three shots, including two on goal in the opening half. The game remained 1-0 in favor of UIndy until the 38th minutes, as the Greyhounds were able to add to their lead and take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Lions made some offensive adjustments at halftime, as the team directed nine shots toward the Uindy goal, while generating the only three corners of the second half. It would be the Greyhounds who added to their lead however, as they made it a 3-0 game in the 70th minute. Indianapolis would go on to add one more late goal and pick up a 4-0 victory.
