The No. 10 Lindenwood baseball team (19-3, 15-3 GLVC) earned a convincing 11-2 win over McKendree (12-16, 5-15 GLVC) on Sunday afternoon in Lebanon, Ill.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions flexed their offensive versatility on in the final game of the series, as the scoring began immediately.Â
Will Lanxon led off the game with a single to centerfield, and stole second base before scoring on an error by the Bearcats.Â
Kolby Schulte walked and stole second, as he later scored on a sacrifice fly by
Bryce Beckmann. Lindenwood doubled its lead in the second inning, after
Beau Collier led off with a double. Collier swiped third base, and was able to score on a groundout.Â
Austin Schmitt took advantage of mistakes by the Bearcats, as he scored on a throwing error by McKendree.

Lindenwood powered its way to three more runs in the top of the fourth, after Schmitt led off the frame with a solo home run. With one runner on, Schulte belted a two-run shot to make it a 7-0 lead. McKendree tallied two runs in the next half inning, but the Lions were locked in on offense.Â
Jack Lochner registered his second RBI of the game before Lanxon drove in a run on an RBI single to first base. Schulte picked up an RBI in the top of the seventh inning, extending the Lindenwood lead to 11-2. The Lions closed out the game as the pitching staff ended the day with just two runs allowed on six hits.
