The Lindenwood baseball team (20-4, 16-4 GLVC) split its doubleheader with UIndy on Tuesday in Indianapolis, Ind. The Lions fell in the first game 2-0, but bounced back with a 3-0 win in the second game.
GAME ONE OVERVIEW
The Lions surrendered a run in the top of the first inning, and quickly fell behind 1-0. Lindenwood put together a rally with two outs in the first inning, but stranded three runners and remained down by a run. UIndy scored another run in the top of the fourth, and the Lions could not find a way to get a run across the plate in the 2-0 loss.

GAME TWO OVERVIEW
The Lions turned around the offensive production in the first inning, as
Bryce Beckmann drove in
Will Lanxon on a single.
Kyle Hentis tossed 5.2 quality innings for the Lions, as he tallied three strikeouts and scattered just three hits. Lindenwood added two insurances runs in the sixth inning, as one of those runs was scored by
Kolby Schulte when he stole home.
Beau Collier drove in Beckmann from second base to make it a 3-0 lead for the Lions.
Justin Taylor pitched the final 1.1 innings for Lindenwood, as he earned his second save of the season in a 3-0 victory.
