The No. 9 Lindenwood men's lacrosse team (7-1, 7-1 GLVC) picked up an 11-9 win over Maryville (5-3, 5-3 GLVC). This is the Lions' fifth-straight win.
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions got off to a slow start and trailed for the first time this season at halftime as the score was 7-4 after 30 minutes of play. Despite the score, Lindenwood outshot Maryville 37-11 in the opening half.
Leonard Jones scored a pair of his team-high four goals in the first half.
The Lions made some adjustments at halftime and outscored the Saints 7-2 in the second half, including all four goals in the fourth quarter. Jones again scored a pair of goals to spark the rally. In the second half, Lindenwood outshot Maryville 26-11 and scooped up 18 ground balls, while Maryville had 11.
