MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lions struggled to get much going offensively on the day, registering just one shot toward the Screaming Eagle frame in the opening half. Southern Indiana compiled 16 shots in the opening half, including three on goal. One of those shots found the back of the net in the 25th minute, giving Southern Indiana a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, the Screaming Eagles protected the one goal lead, while limiting the Lions to just one shot in the half, as USI picked up the 1-0 victory.
