The Lindenwood women's volleyball team (11-6, 11-6 GLVC) was swept by Truman State (9-9, 8-7 GLVC), 3-0, on the road on Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions suffered their first loss in the last six matches.
- Lindenwood was swept in the match, 3-0, by Truman State.
- The Bulldogs opened up the contest with a 25-14 first set win.
- The Lions had 11 kills as a unit in the first set.
- The second and third sets were both won by the Bulldogs by a score of 25-21.
- In the second set, Lindenwood notched 14 kills. In the third set, the Lions tallied 13 kills.
- Truman State finished with just two more kills in the match than Lindenwood. As a team, however, the Lions had 21 errors to Truman State's nine.
- Both teams finished with four aces.
- It marks just the fifth time this season that the Lions have been swept, 3-0, in a match.
