No. 11 Men's Lacrosse Secures Birth into GLVC Championship Final

The No. 11 Lindenwood men's lacrosse team (10-2, 9-2 GLVC) earned a dominant 14-7 win over Maryville (7-6, 7-5 GLVC) in the GLVC Championship Tournament semifinal on Friday afternoon from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions were in control of the first half from the opening faceoff, as they won 8-8 during the first 30 minutes of play.  The success from the X allowed Lindenwood to take a 6-1 lead into halftime. Grant Glazier provided most of the offense, netting a first half hat trick. As a team, the Lions forced 12 Maryville turnovers, while scooping up 18 ground balls.

After an early push from the Saints to start the second half, the Lions settled in, outscoring Maryville 8-6 across the second half of play. The Lions showed a balanced attack on offense in the half, as five different players found the back of the net.  Lindenwood compiled 16 ground balls and forced 111 Maryville turnovers

- Brian Kallberg led the team with four caused turnovers
