The Lindenwood men's soccer team (0-3-0, 0-2-0 GLVC) fell by a score of 2-1 to Quincy (3-2-0. 1-1-0 GLVC on Friday night from Quincy, Ill.

MATCH OVERVIEW
It took Lindenwood just two minutes to find the back of the net as Gabriel Herrera scored his first goal of the season.

After the early goal, both defenses settled in as each team combined for only five shots through 20 minutes of play.  Quincy battled back, however scoring the equalizer in the 26th minute, making the score 1-1.

The Hawks took the lead late in the opening half on a goal in the 42 minute.  Quincy would take that one goal advantage into the locker room.

The second half brought on another defensive battle, seeing each team combine for nine shots, including two on goal, both by the Lions.

Lindenwood could not find the back of the net again as the Hawks would hold on for the 2-1 victory.
