Lindenwood field hockey (2-1) suffered its first defeat of the season, 3-1, at Indiana of Pennsylvania (2-0, 0-0 PSAC) on Sunday.

GAME OVERVIEW
After allowing two early goals, the Lions would be shutout for the entirety of the opening half, marking the first time this season that the team has failed to score in either half of a contest.

In the third quarter, Allie Hosto found Pauline Terwindt off a penalty corner from the left wing to put Lindenwood on the board.

In the match, the Lions took two less shots than the Crimson Hawks, and made one less save. Lindenwood tallied five shots on goal, while Indiana of Pennsylvania registered six shots on goal.
