ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Lindenwood field hockey team fell to Central Michigan University in a 0-6 loss at MICDS on Sunday afternoon.
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions were held scoreless by a tough Central Michigan squad, finding limited attacking opportunities throughout the entirety of the game. The goaltending duo of
Leah Brozovich and
Kyla Cooke came up to make some great saves for Lindenwood at various moments, but unfortunately, Central Michigan found their offensive momentum early and rode it all the way through to the final whistle.

Isabella Shannon,
Izzy Folan and
Samantha Garden each ripped two shots for the Lions, but weren't able to find the back of the net.
Central Michigan outshout Lindenwood 28-8, putting the pressure on the Lions' defense consistently throughout the game.
Brozovich and Cooke faced 14 shots a piece, with Brozovich making seven total saves and Cooke making three.
