Following two home football games with record crowds, Lindenwood University has made some enhancements to the gameday atmosphere for the remainder of the 2022 season.
Â
This weekend, when the Lions host Murray State at 1:00 p.m. in Hunter Stadium, Lindenwood will begin a pilot program with Krey Distributing and Shamrock's Pub n Grill to offer Anheuser Busch products inside the stadium. A two-drink maximum per person will be enforced, and sales will stop at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Â
In addition, Chick-fil-A, Picklemans, and Sugarfire will provide concession services throughout the game to enhance the fan experience at Hunter Stadium.Â
Â
"Following two straight record crowds, our game day staff identified areas for improvement based on fan feedback," said VP for Intercollegiate Athletics
Jason Coomer. "Those voices were heard and we are implementing new elements to help provide the best possible experience for fans as they support Lions Football. Not only will you find a beer sales pilot program and local vendors in-stadium, you will also find additional restrooms have been added as well as the availability of Lindenwood merchandise and apparel."
Â
Prior to gates opening at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, the homecoming parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Main Street in downtown St. Charles with the Lion Pride Tailgate beginning at 11:00 a.m. Â Â Kickoff will occur at 1:00 p.m.
