The Lindenwood women's hockey team (0-8-0, 0-4-0 CHA) returns home to take on St. Thomas (1-9-0, 0-8-0 WCHA) in a two-game set, beginning on Thursday, November 10th at 11:30 a.m. from Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo. The series finale on Friday is set for 1:10 p.m.

The Lions were swept by Syracuse last weekend, dropping both games by scores of 4-1 and 4-3 respectively. In game two, the Orange scored with just six seconds left in the third period to earn the victory. In the series, three out of the four goals scored by the Lions were provided by freshman or sophomores, including
Olivia Grabianowski who scored her first collegiate goal in game two.

Ten of the 12 goals scored by Lindenwood this season have come from underclassmen, led by second-year forward
Morgan Neitzke who has six. The Jackson, Mich. native continued her strong play this weekend, recording a goal and an assist in the series. Neitzke has 23 points (9 G, 14 A) in 37 career games.

Last season, Lindenwood swept both games against the Tommies in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. The Lions won game one 4-3 in overtime, before completing the series sweep with a 4-1 victory. The pair of wins gave the Lions four-consecutive victories for the first time since 2011-12.

St. Thomas is coming off a pair of defeats to No. 1 Ohio State by scores of 4-0 and 6-0. Lindenwood will also face the top-ranked Buckeyes on December 30-31 at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo.

The Tommies have had six different players score goals this season, led by Gabby Billing who has found the back of the net two times on the year. Saskia Mauer has been strong between the pipes, compiling a .918 save percentage and a 2.58 goals against average.
