Lindenwood dropped both games against St. Cloud State last weekend by scores of 7-2 and 4-2, respectively. All four goals in the series were scored by either a freshman or sophomore, as underclassmen have amassed 17 goals on the year, totaling 74 percent of the teams scoring.Â

Sophomore
Morgan Neitzke continued her strong play, netting two goals against the Huskies. The Jackson, Mich. native now has nine goals this season and points in six out of the last eight games. The nine scores are the most by a Lindenwood player in a single season since the 2018-19 season when the Lions had three or more players with nine or more goals.
Â
Sarah Davies and
Karolina Sykorova also found the back of the net against St. Cloud. Davies, a native of Mississauga, Ontario ranks second on the team in goals (4) and points (7). The tally in game one from Sykorova was her first collegiate goal.

Stonehill made the jump to Division I this season and is a member of the New England Women's Hockey Association (NEWHA). The Skyhawks have compiled a record of 7-10-1 so far this season, including a 6-6-0 record inside conference play. Stonehill is coming off a series split with RPI last weekend.
Â
Like Lindenwood, most of the scoring by the Skyhawks comes from underclassmen, who have found the back of the net a total of 41 times so far this season. Freshman Alexis Petford leads the team with 11 goals on the year.
