Gymnastics Wins Dual Meet with SEMO

The Lindenwood gymnastics team beat SEMO in a head-to-head matchup on Friday in Cape Girardeau with a team score of 195.150.

Griswold took the first-place overall title in vault for the third meet in a row. The Louisiana native surpassed her vault personal best (9.825) with her 9.900 score. Simone Evans took second place overall in the event with a 9.850, while Michelle Reed tied for third with her 9.800.
Roberts led the way for Lindenwood on beam for a second week in a row, scoring a 9.825 and taking third overall. Madison Rush was right behind her with a 9.800, which put her fourth in the event.
Moon and Appleget paced the Lions on the uneven bars, winding up in a three-way tie with SEMO's Lydia Webb for second in the meet with a 9.775. Riley Daniels and Kaylee Cooper each had a 9.725, coming in right behind their teammates.
Griswold was also the leader of the floor exercise, taking first for Lindenwood and third overall with a 9.900, which is a tie for her personal best in the event.
