The Lions are No. 1 in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Men's Division I Ranking for the 10
th straight week. After seeing a series against Ohio University canceled due to weather issues, Lindenwood made it back on the ice for a two-game set against Missouri State February 11-12 and came away with convincing 6-1 and 7-1 wins. The losses knocked the Bears from ninth to 13
th in the ranking.
Meanwhile, the top five teams remained the same week-to-week, but Liberty and Iowa State swapped the No. 3 and No. 5 spots. The Flames swept a series against the No. 14 Bobcats, winning the finale in the seventh round of a shootout, to raise their record to 18-7-1 and move up two spots. The Cyclones dropped two spots despite sweeping the University of Jamestown to improve to 24-4-2. Minot State remained No. 2 and extended a winning streak to 13 games after a sweep of Arizona to improve to 23-2-0. The University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV) claimed No. 4 once again even though the Rebels dropped the first game of a series against Arizona State in a shootout. UNLV stands at 22-4-1 on the season.
There were several teams that made big moves in the ranking. In addition to the Missouri State decline of four spots, Indiana Tech jumped from No. 14 to No. 10, while Maryville slipped five spots from No. 10 to No. 15.
The Lions currently stand at 15-3-0 overall and 8-0-0 in the Central States Collegiate Hockey League (CSCHL). They wrap up the regular season with a single game against Maryville February 18. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Maryville Hockey Center in Chesterfield, Missouri.
