Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Women's Lacrosse Picks Up Second Road Win of the Weekend

The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team beat Concordia St. Paul 20-13 on Sunday in Minnesota. 

OVERVIEW 
Despite being down 7-8 at halftime, Lindenwood dominated the game offensively, putting up 47 shots (33 shots on goal) as opposed to Concordia's 27 (22 shots on goal). The Lions also had 11 assisted goals while Concordia only had one. Emma Arnold led the way with three assists. 

Bridget Considine was today's leading goal scorer for the Lions with a season-high of six total. Lindsey Smith and Sara Grieco were next in line with three goals each, and Logann Eldredge netted two. Considine was also today's leader in points, recording eight overall with her six goals and two assists.  

Defensively, Lindenwood was solid, led by Eleanor Kast, who made nine big saves throughout the game. As a team, the Lions scooped up 21 total ground balls and caused five turnovers.  

UP NEXT 
The Lions will play their home opener on Saturday against Tiffin University at 1:00 p.m. in Hunter Stadium.
