The Lindenwood gymnastics team placed second with a team score of 193.625 in a tri-meet with NIU and UW-Whitewater on Friday in Dekalb, Ill.

INSIDE THE SCORES

• Griswold won the vault for a second week in a row, tying her 9.825 performance from last meet. Sydney Lopez had the second highest vault score for Lindenwood, hitting a 9.700 and ending up in a four-way tie for fourth place overall.
• Roberts got back in the groove on beam this week, scoring a very strong 9.850 and placing second overall. Nicole Wojcik had the Lions' next highest beam score, getting a 9.825 and tying NIU's Morgan Hooper for third place in the event.
• Lindenwood's best event as a team was the floor exercise, compiling a score of 48.850 as a team. Griswold had the strongest Lion performance with a 9.875, which surpassed her 9.850 from last week and drew her even closer to her career high in the event (9.900).
• Trinity Caffey (9.775) and Simone Evans (9.750) also greatly contributed to Lindenwood's strong floor showing. Roberts and Lopez both put up 9.725, while Jenna Eagles rounded out the group with a 9.625.
• Moon led the way for Lindenwood with her 9.775 on the uneven parallel bars, while Riley Daniels was close behind with a 9.750.
