The Lindenwood gymnastics team took second place with a score of 194.875 at the Midwest Independent Conference Championships on Friday in Texas.

INSIDE THE SCORES 

• Daniels achieved second place overall (five-way tie) with her vault performance, which allowed her to be named first team all-conference in the event.
• Scott was garnished with second team all-conference honors after her fourth-place bar routine, which resulted in a 9.825 score. Moon was close behind with her 9.800 routine, which placed her in a three-way tie for fifth overall.
• Rush and Moon led the way for Lindenwood's beam squad, which landed them in a four-way tie for second place overall. Griswold was next for the Lions with her 9.750 score, putting her in the sixth-place spot overall. All three received all-conference beam honors, with Moon and Rush being first team and Griswold being second team.
• Evans and Griswold sat atop the Lions' leaderboard for the floor exercise, which meant they both received second-team all-conference recognition in the event. Hadley Roberts was close behind for Lindenwood with her 9.800 performance.
• Moon was also all-conference in the all-around category, receiving first team honors for her 38.900 score.

The Lions will head to the USAG National Championships at Cornell University starting on April 8th.
