The Lindenwood baseball team (11-10) saw its comeback fall short in a 12-7 loss to Indiana Pennsylvania (7-6) on Saturday in Indiana, Pa.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Crimson Hawks put up three runs in the first inning to jump out in front 3-0. Lindenwood surrendered four more runs in the third and a pair in the fourth to fall behind by nine runs.Â
Jayce Maag led off the top of the sixth with a double, and later scored on an infield single by
Will Lanxon. The Lions poured on the runs in the top of the seventh inning to make it a new ballgame.

Maag hit another double in the seventh frame, driving in
Austin Schmitt in the process.Â
Alex Gauspohl drove in a run of his own in the next at bat, while
Sam Kissane hit a two-RBI single to cut the deficit to five runs.Â
Kolby Schulte drove in Lanxon on a single, as Kissane closed out the score on a passed ball to make it a 9-7 margin. Â Indiana added an insurance run in the bottom half of the inning, and two more in the eighth to hold on for the 12-7 win over Lindenwood.
