The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team beat Adam State 19-3 in Hunter Stadium on Monday afternoon.
OVERVIEW
The Lions had a 10-0 lead going into halftime thanks to six massive goals from
Peter Covington, and
Keese Zugehoer,
Adrian Thompson,
Cam Smith and
Dylan Colon goals as well.
Kyle Hebert contributed five first-half saves, while
Patrick Kaschalk scooped up three ground balls to lead the way.
In the second half, Colon netted two more goals, then Kaschalk and Smith each scored another.
Nolan Corker,
Alex Weis,
Jonathan Schlapper, and
Nick George got on the board with one goal apiece, and
Dawson Gillette netted his first goal as a Lion off the assist from Weis.
Thompson had the highest number of assists on the day with four total, and J.P. Morris was close behind with three. Kaschalk,
Colin Hunt and
Michael Miocic all tallied five ground balls on the day to make it a three-way tie for the top spot on the leaderboard. Miocic was dominant in the faceoff circle, winning 11-14 of his matchups, making him a key part of Lindenwood's powerful offense.
