On Tuesday, the NCAA announced that
Gayla Griswold of Lindenwood gymnastics will be headed to compete in the 2022 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Regional Championships on Thursday, March 31 in Norman, Oklahoma.
Griswold was selected to compete as an individual in the vault category, making her the only Lion headed to this year's regional championship. The two-time Midwest Independent Conference weekly award winner broke Lindenwood's program vault record back on February 18 in the Gymquarters Invitational with a 9.975 performance. Since then, Griswold has come close to replicating that new career high, like recently posting a 9.925 vault at Mizzou on March 12.
