The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team (5-2) was defeated by Regis (7-0) in a 13-10 loss in Colorado on Friday night.
Despite
Bridget Considine's four-goal effort, the undefeated No. 11 Regis Rangers held on to upset the No. 4 Lions.
Lindenwood was up 2-1 going into the second quarter, but once the Rangers tied things up, they went on a five-goal run before the Lions got back on the board again, making it 3-7 right before halftime.Â
The Lions closed the gap to make it 7-8 at the end of the third, but Regis tallied another five goals in the fourth quarter of play to round things out.Â
Other noteworthy Lions'Â peformances came from
Emma Arnold, who grabbed two goals, one assist and caused two turnovers to lead the way for the Lions.
Zoe Totland and
Eleanor Kast each collected three ground balls for Lindenwood to put themselves atop the leaderboard in that category, while
Logann Eldredge took the top spot for draw controls with five total.Â
