The Lindenwood baseball team (15-10, 4-0 GLVC) swept Southwest Baptist (5-20, 0-4 GLVC) with a 6-0 win in the final game of the season series on Sunday at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
 
GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood took a lead in the fourth inning, as Calvin Nowak scored from third base.  Will Henson was hit by a pitch with bases loaded to bring in the second run of the inning.  Chad Donze completed his outing with 4.2 innings and six strikeouts, while surrendering just three hits.
 
Austin Schmitt drove in Alex Gauspohl in the fifth inning to give the Lions a 3-0 lead.  Schmitt added another RBI to his stat line in the sixth inning, extending the lead to four runs.  In the seventh inning, Michael Ward drove in a run on a double to left field, while Henson tallied an RBI on a single to centerfield.  Jacob Thompson came in a closed the door in the final 4.1 innings of work, securing the 6-0 win to sweep the weekend series.
