The Lindenwood baseball team (7-6) picked up an 8-4 win over Minot State (5-6) on Saturday afternoon at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Beavers took an early lead as the Lions made two errors in the opening frame. With two outs in the bottom of the first inning,
Genesis Nunez drove in
Calvin Nowak from second base to tie the game at 1-1. Lindenwood took the lead in the next inning, after
Austin Schmitt tallied an-RBI double down the left field line. Minot State tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the third, and regained its lead in the top of the fifth with a pair of runs.

Lindenwood answered quickly and took a 5-4 lead after drawing three-consecutive bases-loaded walks.Â
Kolby Schulte started the seventh inning with a triple to left center, and scored on a double by
Michael Ward.Â
Bailey Crump reached on a fielder's choice that allowed Ward to score from third, and
Nick Meacham came in to pinch run and scored from second in the next at bat. The Lions held strong to its four-run lead, and tallied their fourth-straight victory.
