The Lindenwood baseball team (7-7) dropped the final game of the series with Minot State (6-6) by a final of 8-0 on Sunday afternoon at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
 
GAME OVERVIEW
Early in the game the two squads were involved in a pitchers dual, as neither team generated a run in the first three innings.  Minot State jumped on the board in the top of the fourth with two runs on three hits and an error.  The Beavers scored two more runs in the sixth inning, and another pair in the seventh frame to take a 6-0 lead.
 
Lindenwood fell behind by eight runs, after the Beavers put two up more tallies in the top of the ninth inning.  The Lions could not claw back, and lost the final game of the series on Sunday.
