The Lindenwood men's tennis team fell to the Maryville Saints in a 2-5 conference play loss on Saturday.

The Lions took two of the three doubles matches away from the Saints, with Juan Pablo Herrera/Francisco Diaz and Anton de la Puente/Rodrigo Rattes beating their Maryville opponents 6-2 and 6-1 respectively. 

In singles play, Juan Balbin secured the only victory for Lindenwood when he fought off his opponent in three tough sets.

Up next, the Lions will continue their GLVC run against the USI Screaming Eagles on the Lindenwood Tennis Courts on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
