The Lindenwood men's tennis team fell in a close 3-4 loss to the McKendree on Friday afternoon.
In singles play, Fransisco Diaz and
Anton de la Puente were the only Lions who found victories against their Bearcat opponents, with Diaz winning 6-4 and 6-4, while Puente walked away with two 6-3 victories.
Doubles play consisted of an exciting 7-6 victory from the pairing of Diaz and
Juan Pablo Herrera. Puente and
Rodrigo Rattes teamed up to grab a doubles win as well, beating their opponent 6-3 with ease.
Up next, the Lions will play one final match against Illinois-Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in Springfield, Ill.
