ST. CHARLES, MO. - The 2022 Lindenwood men's soccer schedule will feature 15 games, including eight matches inside the Summit League, which the Lions officially became a member of in May. Four of those 15 matches will take place inside Hunter Stadium, where the Lions won three games last season.
Lindenwood will begin the season with seven-straight road games, as it opens the season on Friday, September 2nd against SIUE. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. from Edwardsville, Ill. Lindenwood earned three victories on the road a year ago. Last season the Cougars compiled a record of 6-10-2, including a 4-5 record at home.
The last of those seven-consecutive road games will mark the beginning of the conference slate for the Lions. Lindenwood will take on Summit League foe Kansas City on Saturday, September 24, beginning at 7:00 p.m. In 2021, the Roos posted a record of 3-7-5 with two of those wins coming at home.
On Wednesday, September 28, Lindenwood will host Oral Roberts for its first home match of the season. Last season, the Golden Eagles posted an impressive 11-2-2 record, including an undefeated 5-0 mark on the road. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Lions wrap-up the regular season with a matchup against Denver at home on Wednesday, November 2nd, beginning at 7:00 p.m. A year ago, the Pioneers went 10-4-5, including a 4-1-1 mark inside conference play.
