The Lindenwood men's soccer team (1-4-1, 0-0-0 SL) dropped its final non-conference match by a score of 9-0 to Butler (4-2-1, 0-0-1 Big East) on Thursday night from Indianapolis, Ind.
GAME OVERVIEW
Butler was on the front foot early, grabbing a lead in the 11th minute. The Bulldogs added four more goals in the opening half, including three in a seven minute span as they took a 5-0 lead into the halftime break.
Isaac Hoog compiled the only two Lindenwood shots in the first half, one of which was on goal.
Butler added four more goals in the second half, earning the victory on Wednesday night. The Lions wrapped up the non-conference schedule with a record of 1-4-1.
