Women's Hockey Drops Series Finale to No. 5 Wisconsin

The Lindenwood women's hockey team (0-4-0, 0-0-0 CHA dropped the series finale to No. 5 Wisconsin (3-1-0, 0-0-0- WCHA) by a score of 10-0 on Friday night from Madison, Wis.

GAME OVERVIEW
Wisconsin got on the board just over a minute into the game, taking an early 1-0 lead. Lindenwood's defenseman were active in the offensive end of the ice, generating four shot attempts in the opening frame, lead by Thea Jorgensen who had two. The Badgers would add two more in the frame, leading 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. Emily Finach made 20 saves, while the Lions blocked another eight attempts.

The Badgers added four more goals in the period, taking a 7-0 lead after 40 minutes of play. Through two periods, Lindenwood totaled 10 shots on goal led by Jorgensen who has two. Brooke Pioske blocked five shots across two frames, while Lindenwood compiled 19 as a team.

Wisconsin added three more goals in the final period, taking the series finale.
