ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood gymnastics team downed the Illinois State Redbirds with a score of 194.425 in their first road dual meet of the season on Friday night in Normal, Illinois.

- Jaly Jones won the all-around award for the second meet in a row, outdoing last week's 38.475 meet-winning score. The freshman's best event was the uneven bars, where she set a new personal best with her 9.800 score. This score was the second best score on the Lion's bars lineup, with Kaylee Cooper also achieving the 9.800 mark on bars tonight.
- The uneven bars would actually be the Lions' best event of the evening, putting up a new season-high with their 49.050 score.
- Hannah Moon won the uneven bars tonight with her stellar 9.875 performance, setting the pace for the entire meet in this event.
- Hannah Appleget was another award winner tonight, taking home the title with her meet-high 9.850 balance beam score. Gayla Griswold took second in the event with her 9.800 mark.
- Sydney Lopez and Jaly Jones tag-teamed the strongest floor performances for the Lions, each posting a 9.750 score on their routine to end up in a three-way tie for sixth place in the event.
