ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood gymnastics team took second place at the Tennessee Collegiate Classic on Friday night with a final score of 196.175, which is the highest score for the Lions since 2019.
"This is what happens when everyone is committed to every single role," said Head Coach Catelyn Branson. "I am so incredibly proud of this team today and the way they stayed together the entire meet. And the gymnastics was great on top of that. Just excited to keep building from here."

- Jaly Jones continues to improve on her all-around performance each meet, outdoing her own performance from last week (38.475) and setting a new personal best for herself with her 39.250 score. The freshman standout took third overall in the all-around category at the meet, and her best event of the night was the uneven bars with her 9.875, another new personal best.
- Hannah Moon scored her second 9.875 on the uneven bars in a row, proving to be a key part in the Lions' success in the event. Kaylee Cooper and Riley Daniels were the Lions' next-best performers in the event with their 9.800 scores.
- Gayla Griswold strung together many powerful performances throughout all of her events tonight, posting the highest scores for Lindenwood on the vault, floor and the balance beam.
- The Lions' floor team put together the best performance tonight with their 49.250 score, with no Lion scoring lower than a 9.800 in the event. Reagan Jones, Trinity Caffey and Hannah Appleget each posted a 9.850, while Sydney Lopez hit a 9.825 and Jaly Jones scored a 9.800.
