ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood gymnastics team beat SEMO with a score of 193.200 in their first dual meet of the season on Sunday afternoon in Hyland Arena.
I'm proud of this team and the direction we're headed," said Head Coach Catelyn Branson. "Today was a good day, but there's so much more potential on the table and I'm excited to keep seeing them progress from week to week."

- Jaly Jones won the all-around award at this meet, claiming her first collegiate victory in an event with her strong overall performance. She compiled a 9.625 on vault, 9.700 on bars, 9.525 on beam and 9.625 on floor.
- The Lions' best event of the day was floor, with the floor lineup tallying an impressive 48.675 as a whole.
- Gayla Griswold was the vault winner of the meet with her 9.875. She also had the highest score for Lindenwood in all three events she competed in today.
- The bars team had a very impressive showing as well, coming in very close behind floor with a 48.625 final score.

The Lions will head to Illinois State on Friday for a dual meet with the Redbirds starting at 7:00 p.m. in Normal, Illinois.
