LOUISVILLE, KY.—On Sunday afternoon, the Lindenwood field hockey team took on Bellarmine University. The Lions would fall 1-0 to the Knights.
MATCH OVERVIEW
In the first two periods of the game, both teams remained off the scoring column. In the first half, the Lions would lead in shots with three, while the Knights had two.
In the third period, both teams would remain off the scoreboard once again. In the third frame, the Lions were held shotless, while the Knights had six shots.
Leah Brozovich made three saves in the third frame. Three minutes into the final period, the Knights scored the only goal of the game. In this period, the Lions were held shotless, while the Knights had five shots.
Kyla Cooke started in net for the Lions. Brozovich would relieve Cooke after the second period, making five saves on one goal against. After the match, the Lions moved to 3-8 on the year.
