The Lindenwood women's hockey team (2-2-0, 0-0-0 CHA) will take on the University of St. Thomas (2-0-0, 0-0-0 WCHA) in a two-game series, in Mendota Heights, Minn. Game one is set for Friday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m. Central Time and game two is set for Saturday, October 7th, at 6:00 p.m. Central Time. All games will be hosted at the St. Thomas Ice Arena.Â
The Lions are currently 2-2-0 on the season, with two losses to #1 ranked Wisconsin, in their most recent matchups.
Morgan Neitzke leads the Lions in points with five, assists with three, and is tied for first on the team in goals. Neitzke also leads the team in blocked shots with 11.
Sarah Davies is second on the team in points with four, coming off two goals and two assists. Davies was the lone scorer for the Lions over the weekend against Wisconsin.

The Lions are looking to bounce back from a two-game losing streak and sweep the St. Thomas Tommie's, to have a record of 4-2-0 on the season.Â
The Lions will meet with the Tommie's for the fifth time in program history. The Lions are currently 2-2 all-time against the Tommie's with the Lions falling 5-2 to the Tommie's in their most recent matchup (11/11/2022). The Tommie's are currently 2-0-0 on the season picking up two wins over Franklin Pierce. Prior to the start of the season, the Tommies were picked to finish sixth in the WCHA out of eight teams in the preseason poll. The Tommies in the previous year went 3-24-1. Players to watch for the Tommies include Ella Boerger and Rylee Bartz who lead the Tommies in points with four. Calla Frank and Olivia King both started one game in net for the Tommies making 26 combined saves and four goals against.Â
