Beach Volleyball Gets First Division I Win on First Day Competing

ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood beach volleyball team went 1-1 on their first day of competition in program history by beating Oklahoma Wesleyan 5-0 and falling to Mo State 1-4.

"I am so proud of this team," said Head Coach Alli Duckworth. "They have put a lot of hard work and invested a great deal into this first season.  So for them to see first hand the results pay off with a win on our first day is a great start. We still have a lot to learn, most of that will come as we get match experience.  Right now, every experience we have is a first for the program."
