ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood beach volleyball team went 2-0 on their second day of competition in program history by beating Southern Baptist 4-1 and McKendree 5-0. 

We really showed a lot of growth today," said Head Coach Alli Duckworth. "Our team did a great job of learning and adapting to each opponent. They gave tremendous effort throughout the matches. This is a great starting point for our program."

GAME ONE OVERVIEW
Four of the five Lindenwood pairs today grabbed victories over their SBU opponents, kicking things off with another victory to start their day.

Team No. 1 Maider Soto and Katie Malzahn defeated Katie Pogue and Gabrielle Belcher (SBU) 21-13, 21-14
Team No. 2 Bailey Lasater and Azalea Clendenning (SBU) defeated Nyah Wilson and Myah Hough 25-23, 21-17
Team No. 3 Amber Schade and Elise Llorens defeated Janel Pido and Ella Rademaker (SBU) 21-17, 21-19
Team No. 4 McKenna Androsky and Rachel Mitts defeated Paityn Kramer and Madison Satterly (SBU) 21-14, 21-15
Team No. 5 Rebecca Janke and Katelyn Irvin defeated Julia Becker and Carlee Lill (SBU) 21-13 21-14

GAME TWO OVERVIEW
The Lions got their second sweep in program history already on day two of competing, sending quite the message as a first-year program.
